F took me to the Odyssey for a dinner cruise. I had such a good time!!!!

It's T plus, again!

I have not posted to my blog in awhile! New job.....new energy......so far, soooooo good. I am really liking it 2 weeks in. And for the first time in my life (at least that I can remember and this is significant!), I am happy on both the work and personal front! Woo-hoo. Savoring it.....F: good. Tux: good. me: very good. Looking forward to the end of October, when I really commence to the next "phase" of my life. I am looking forward to it and we will see what happens!!!!!

F and I took our first trip on a cruise to the Bahamas. We thought that we might have missed the deembarkation from Miami for awhile there (yup, I booked the flights too tight!), but we ended up making it!

Highlights:
1) Snorkeling trip on Blackbeard's Island with tamed StingRay's! That was really fun and the beach was fantastic. Water was a little chilly, but it was that wonderful crystal clear Carribean blue!
2) Aquarium at Atlantis (& Dig): Now that is an aquarium (the aquarium in Atlanta, fuggetaboutit!)!!!
3) Being with F, of course!

Vacations are always so nice!!!!!

Dicotomy in the State of Id

Work.....well, work sux......big time. In fact, it is so bad that I can't believe I'm not more morose about it than I probably should be.

Does this have anything to do with the adage, "Older and wiser"? I'm just not bent out of shape by the fact that my work situation is in complete shambles. When I was younger, this would TOTALLY make me flip out. Wow! Ok! I like this. Of course, I have my freak-out moments about me job situation and finding another job, but OVERALL I'm happy as a clam!!! Woo-hoo!

Ahhhhh....the I-O, as I now thought of calling it. It has something to do with what happened at around 11:30 pm on March 29th, 2007, yesterday! First time ever. Yup. It was AWESOME. I really didn't think that it was possible. You gotta love when something out of the ordinary and unexpected happens.

So, this is the State of Id......Result: Still Bliss!

Tux!!!!

My cat is uber cool! He's about 4 months old now. I got him about the same time that I got F.! Two guys for the price of one (F. is priceless and, well, so was Tux (a stray))......how can it get any better than that?!

Today is President's Day, so I have the day off from that oh-so-psychotic people who I work with (e.g. in a particular lab in Bldg. 10) and I get to observe Tux in action. He's HILARIOUS. Obviously, I have been successful in creating a darn good play environment for Tux. Cat condo, cat toys and the newest addition the "cat bed". I went to that company's website. Their products are sooooooooo cute: www.fatcatinc.com. Love it!

T plus........to what?

Oh man......What a man! This year has started off with an amazying bang.....a big bang! I'm in the midst of a budding romance and I'm in complete utter bliss! I don't even know where to begin. Really, I'm speechless.

We met first in August. Happy hour at the Tiki Bar in Arlington, VA. He had a really bad week: work plus his roof on his house in PA caved in. Gee.....F, let me buy you a drink: the Papa Quan. A couple of drinks later, needless to say, we were completely plastered, but still having loads o' fun. F. walked SO and I back to the Metro.

Fast forward to beginning of December....the bar across from Cafe Salsa (Alexandria, VA), I sat next to J. at dinner and F. sat on the other end of the table. At the bar, however, F. positioned himself next to me later in the night. He proceeded to put is arm around me and at one point stroked my leg. Hmmmmmm.....this was interesting and a turn on.

Fast forward to December 30th: date with F. at Soho Grand, NYC......drinks, dinner, drinks, lots of kissing, a round trip walk to Little Italy for cappuccino and the night ended at 4 am. Wow! This was getting more interesting by the day.

What next?! 1/9 dinner at Evening Star Cafe resulted in going to 2nd base. And then the rest of January.....well, let's just say out of 30 days, we've spent 23-ish days together. Woah!

Result: Bliss.

10.24.06 - T minus.....what?

What's the current count down? Nothing really......but, maybe it's the countdown to when I leave this particular job.....Yeah, that's it! The problem is that I don't know what the end date is.....of course, I could set it or they could set it, but why do that when you have determined that the time is not right......Whatev.....I'm so bored.

I just came back from FL.....visiting my bro and his new GF. Good trip. I saw Eric Clapton in concert in Miami yesterday. It was awesome....he was the EC disguised as God on the guitar. Effortless. He becomes the music; it flows through him. He's in a zone. That's all there is to it. Too bad I didn't see him in concert when he was younger.
